Lafitte castle

The property of the Lafitte Castle has more than one hundred years. The first body of building was set up in Yvrac with the whole beginning of the XIXème century and the wines quickly acquired a certain prestige.

The Castle located at L ’ Is of Bordeaux to 14 km of the center, belonged to the Count Of the Valley on the Field of Lafitte and knew an alternation of agricultural cultures before
between fruit trees and vines.

En1973, Rene Floréal Laguens bought the field and chooses D ’ to reimplant a vineyard of 37 hectares there. From 2003, his/her daughter Danielle Hennequin, her husband Hennequin Jack, their daughters Valerie Hennequin and Caroline Hennequin-Myers took in hand the destiny of the property.

Since the way of the wolf, once passed the monumental gate of the property, one is allured by the long roads whose laces are based in the vines and L ’ gone of palm trees which leads jusqu ’ to the beautiful fair stone frontage.
